Recent Updates

The past month has been a complete blur! We've been teaching, finishing up grad school, and attempting to see friends and family. It felt like Halloween hit as soon as we got back from Disney.

 Fall happened so quickly, and we barely caught pictures around our property of the beautiful colors. 

Moses had two costumes for Halloween: a professional gentleman and a rocker cat complete with "Mo"hawk. The rocker cat seemed to win the approval of most of his fans!

Then, our sweet little niece turned one and we celebrated with her at her Halloween costume first birthday party. She was not sure what to do with the cake at first and kept looking from her mom to her dad and back as if seeking permission. Then, she went to town!

Once Halloween was over, it was a quick couple of weeks of work, grad school, and parent/teacher conferences. Now, we are four weeks out until Christmas break, and we have no idea what we are getting for anyone! The house is decorated (more pictures to come, once I actually take them). It's sad that Thanksgiving came in the midst of this blur that is our current status in life, but it was still wonderful. Two Thanksgivings with two awesome families and a third to come later this weekend with friends...I'd chalk that up to a pretty nice time off!
