Internship & Portfolio = Finished

Finally, my work for Loyola is FINISHED! I led the final session for my internship last week. I just finished my entire portfolio today. It has been done, but I wanted to edit a few things. Now, all that stands between me and graduation is the head of the program grading my work, a final debate, and the financial mess that Loyola has made of our accounts. Hmm...sounds like they may not let me graduate! If the financial piece stops me, I will be requesting the services of a few lawyer friends!!! I would not recommend Loyola simply for the fact that they have screwed us over in the financial department. The woman who was handling everything was just recently fired if that tells you anything. I have saved EVERY single email about my account balance and getting back the money that they owe us. We'll see where this goes...

For now, I just hope that the head of the program sees how much work I've done. I have spent HOURS upon HOURS on this internship and on my portfolios (yes, that's right, we had to complete two of them). I am also already on board to lead more professional development for my school even though it's not even part of my internship. I cannot simply do things half way, and I feel like I have not had a social life in 2 and a half years because I spent every weekend working on papers, projects, or reading. I've made many new wonderful friends through the program though. It's amazing how quickly we all bonded. We are hoping to celebrate sometime in the next couple of weeks.

I'm also hoping that I can blog more now on here that I will have some extra time. Christmas decoration pictures to come soon...and only 15 more days of school until winter break!
